Paint Your Own Watercolor DC Mural Print

Recreate your own DC print with us! Local artist Trap Bob is creating a one-of-a-kind mural for our WE MAKE DC pop-up space. This session is an opportunity to recreate the mural print with watercolors. We'll have copies of our DC Mural printed onto watercolor paper and participants can recreate the print to make it their own.

Tenbeete Solomon, better known as Trap Bob, is a multidisciplinary artist based in Washington, DC. She is known for her use of bold colors and gestures to convey both the humor and struggles of everyday life. Her work is socially conscious and frequently inspired by activism and community issues, with an aim to bridge the gap between her audience and her message. Her work is rooted in the belief that "Art Will Save the World".
As the founder of Trap Bob World, a design and product company, Tenbeete has worked with leading corporations, brands, and organizations including: NASA, Warner Bros, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Major League Soccer, and Refinery 29.

This workshop is a part of our WE MAKE DC Grand Opening, a weekend full of celebrating our city through art and community. Our WE MAKE DC Pop-Up, retail and cultural activation in Washington, DC’s Golden Triangle and is a living, multi-dimensional space that brings together the makers, artists, musicians, and storytellers who make this city what it is.
