Join Kitsap Art and Saltwater Bookshop for a creative evening where you’ll learn how to paint your favorite book cover on canvas using acrylic paint! A gray-scale image of your chosen book cover will be attached to a 12×16-inch canvas, and you’ll learn how to recognize and translate values into color. All high-quality art supplies are included.
Saltwater Bookshop will also host a pop-up book sale during the event, so you can browse and discover new reads while you paint!
Please submit a clear, high-resolution color image of your favorite book cover no later than April 11th, to [email protected]. For the best results, we recommend selecting a cover with a single focal image rather than many small elements, which can make it more difficult to capture details and finish within the allotted time.
