Paint, Plant & Grow 🌱A Wellbeing Activity with The Palomino Trust

Join The Palomino Trust, in partnership with PonyTales – Interactive, for a relaxed and creative wellbeing session at Jack & Jo’s, part of Fed & Watered in Ryton.
Paint, Plant & Grow is a gentle hands-on activity where children and adults can decorate their own small plant pot and plant a seed to take home and nurture. Watching something grow can be a lovely reminder of how small moments of creativity and care can flourish over time.
As part of the session, there will also be a short interactive story time activity from PonyTales – Interactive, bringing storytelling and imagination into the experience.
This session has been designed to encourage creativity, connection with nature, and relaxed social interaction in a welcoming and supportive environment.
What to Expect
During the session you can:
🌱 Paint and decorate your own small plant pot
🌱 Plant a seed to take home and watch grow
📖 Enjoy a short PonyTales – Interactive story time
🌿 Spend time together in a calm, creative community space
Who Can Attend
This activity is open to children and adults of all ages and is particularly welcoming for SEND children and families who may benefit from a calm and inclusive environment.
Families, carers, and community members are all warmly welcome.
