Join us for Jackson County’s very first Plein Air event, where art meets the beauty of the outdoors!“Plein Air” (a French term meaning “open air”) is a style of painting done entirely outdoors. Artists create their work on-site, capturing natural light, architecture, landscapes, and everyday moments in real time. Instead of painting from photographs in a studio, they immerse themselves in the environment — painting what they see, feel, and experience in the moment.
We are thrilled to bring this inspiring tradition to our community for the first time!
We are incredibly excited to see our artists transform Jackson County into an open-air gallery. Whether you are participating, supporting, or simply coming to admire the work, we can’t wait to share this experience with you!
If you’re interested in volunteering or helping with the event, please feel free to reach out directly to [email protected].
