About this Event
How many of you want to get crafty while basking outdoors in the sunshine? This workshop is unlike any other! Altars are commonly associated with religious offerings or rituals. However, whether you're religious or not, we often spend more time admiring others than honoring who we are today. Building an altar is a powerful way to express and reflect on your personal values, beliefs, and significant life experiences. It’s a sacred space that illuminates our needs, desires, and the changes we want to manifest in our lives.
What you can expect:
We’ll start with a nature meditation, then head off on a crafty adventure that includes collecting things that spark our curiosity. Expect a creative journey where we’ll paint, build, write poetry, and ultimately create personal altars. Trust me, you'll be surprised at the end! 🌱
What's included:
- All workshop equipment/ art supplies! No experience is needed, just bring your energy!
- We will provide blankets + pillows - though feel free to bring your own thing to sit on
- Tea, biscuits, pastries and fresh fruit to keep us satisfied along the way
- A sense of gratitude and playfulness
- New friendships that are met with transparency and authenticity
Where: This in-person event will be held in Tiergarten ( the exact coordinates will be announced closer to date)

More about Extra Piñata:
Victoria Ng, is a multi-potential designer and play coach, always drawing inspiration from the stories of life - the awkward bits, the uncertainties, and all their complexities. Deeply inspired by the intersection between creativity and mental wellbeing, it led her to write her thesis on 'Designing for Emotional Resilience' and earn a Certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy, where she discovered the profound impact art can have on our wellbeing.
With her work at Extra Piñata, she aims to inspire others to play, imagine, create, and connect. She believes playing isn't just a child's game or an outlet for relaxation; it's a creative and soothing path to healing and reigniting our natural curiosity. In the hustle of adult life, we often forget how important play is, and Victoria's on a mission to reignite the joy of play.
