LEVEL 2 Try something new, explore your own style, discover what’s possible! If you’re ready for more than step-by-step painting, this workshop will show you how to create your own cherry blossom painting. We’ll offer a few techniques, and you choose the method that appeals to you. Cherry blossoms are a perfect subject for ‘pointillist’ painting, made famous by the Impressionists. Your instructor will demonstrate technique and assist you in choosing tools and colors. It's easier than you think! Sample paintings and reference photos will be there for your inspiration.
Class meets 6-8pm in the community room of Craftwork Studios. Bring your own bottle! There will be snacks. PAINTING WORKSHOP IDEAS materials provided: ● 9 x 12 stretched canvas ● gray, black, green, pink, white paint ● assorted brushes ● bubble wrap ● q-tips cost: $25 for nonmembers, $15 members
