The Gathering Place

We almost got knocked over with the snow last month, but even with this shift, we are still standing tall! We're back at it and still celebrating the love of God! Every day is a day to be thankful for His love toward us and through us for others!

Just pause and take a moment of graditude for God's love for you. You are made in the image of the only true and living God, and He says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made! The scriptures tell us to love our neighbor as ourselves. It begins with understanding the love God has for you that in turn fuels loving yourself and others. His love never runs out, and because we rely solely on Him, yours doesn't have to either.

Stop comparing yourself to others, stop speaking negative things about yourself, and please stop devaluing yourself! Love is an action word, so show yourself some love with your actions! And no sis, we're not talking about shopping and draining your bank account. We're talking about truly discovering the God-crafted parts about you and learning to love them. In this month of love and in every day, find something new to love about what God made - you, others, and the world around you.

Tell your sister, your best friend, your sister-cousin, all those lovely women, that she needs to be in the room with you for this session of The Gathering Place. See you soon!

• Parking is free in the lot adjacent to the Studio 404 building and along the street
• Lunch is provided
• This is an event for women 18 and over, and at this time children are not permitted to attend
