Back by popular demand! Imagine a creative, fun day, painting our gorgeous Australian landscape with water reflections…….. I can’t wait for this class!If you thought you can’t paint but you wish you could. Or perhaps you’d love to paint something you’d be proud to hang on your own wall, you are going to love this class. We are going to go through some basic painting techniques that I’ve learnt that really give you great results. This is suitable for absolute beginners to those that can already paint. It’s always good to learn new techniques.
Saturday 15th March 10am - 3pm @ The Post and Rail $165 per person.
Whilst we’re painting our landscape, we’ll go through some helpful beginner tips like blending colors, how to do your original sketch, how to finish your painting and get it ready for hanging. We’ll also talk about composition and values and how to get depth in your painting. Don’t worry if you haven’t even painted before, I’m here to help and guide you.
The class begins with freshly baked morning tea and also includes a Ploughman’s Lunch with home made preserves.
You get all the notes from the day emailed to you so that you can reference them any time you want.
All you need to bring is yourself, I supply the canvas, aprons, paints and brushes and I can’t wait to get painting with you.

The Post and Rail is a Cooking & Gardening School located at 7 Bill James Court Compton, on a 5 picturesque acre property. In a normal home designed to provide a relaxed and sociable, learning experience. Please allow an extra 10 mins travel time from the center of Mount Gambier.

Every guest in our kitchen receives a warm welcome, morning tea, just out of the oven, Tea or proper Coffee, lunch and their own apron to wear for the duration of the class and equipment.
