In celebration of Foster Care Alumni Week (May 17–23, 2026), MassNFCA invites you to join us for a relaxed, creative evening designed specifically for alumni of foster care and out-of-home placement.

This isn’t your typical paint night. Paint After Dark is a semi-guided, flexible experience that prioritizes connection, creativity, and comfort. Whether you’re an experienced artist or haven’t picked up a paintbrush in years, this space is designed to be low-pressure, welcoming, and genuinely fun.
Expect a laid-back atmosphere with music, light refreshments, and the opportunity to connect with others who share lived experience in foster care and out-of-home placement. Come solo or bring a friend—either way, you’ll leave with your own piece of art and new connections.

Who should attend:
This event is for alumni of foster care and individuals currently experiencing out-of-home placement, ages 16 and up.
Ally Registration:
If registering as an ally, you must attend with someone who has lived experience in foster care or out-of-home placement. Due to limited capacity, priority will be given to alumni and those currently in placement.
Waitlist Information:
If tickets sell out, please email [email protected] with your name, age, and whether you are an alum to be added to the waitlist. If there is enough interest, an additional session may be added.
