About this Event

Enjoy a small-group atmosphere in Michelle's Studio. Up to 8 participants will paint a forest scene in oils to completion over the course of two consecutive days with one-on-one help from your Host. Work from provided references or use your own. All materials are included.
This is a safe space for beginners AND seasoned artists wanting a gentle push outside of their comfort zone. We will focus on light, loose brushwork, technique, and developing your own style in a playful setting.
Bring your packed lunch and a sense of adventure



*Work created in the workshop will be stamped on the back as such.

The Donald Gordon Centre is a fair price, includes a full breakfast, and is located between the studio and the vibrant historic centre of town.

10:00 Set up, sketch composition

12ish Catered lunch is served

1:00 Colour block-in

3:00 Clean-up, Group Critique with refreshments

4:00 Depart for the day

DAY TWO

9:00 Arrive for demo, coffee and tea available

10:00 Continue the block-in

12ish Catered lunch is served

1:00 Group critique

3:00 Refine your painting

4:00 Workshop concludes.
