प्रेमाचा प्रतिध्वनी: अजिंठा – Echoes of Love: The Ajanta
Echoes of Love: The Ajanta Experience, is a dramatised interpretation of a long poem by Namdeo Dhondo Mahanor, a renowned Marathi poet, lyricist, and farmer-legislator known for his profound nature poetry and rural songs. The poem depicts the blossoming romance between British painter Robert Gill and tribal young woman Paro against the stunning backdrop of the Ajanta caves.
This presentation explores contemporary social landscape while celebrating the enchanting beauty of nature surrounding the caves. It features narration by Madhavi Todkar, Uday Ramdas and Akshay Watve, and incorporates a combination of domestic and international folk instruments whose earthy tunes will be enhanced by light and sound arrangements.
