$Page Street Prairie: Homeschool Days \u201cIn the Garden\u201d$

This will be the first of three Nature Based Learning opportunities at Page Street Prairie this fall.
It is donation based and open to all age groups.
At this event we’ll learn about the garden ecosystem by:
Exploring the soil as we plant fall garlic
*each family will receive a garlic bulb to take home and plant as well*
Listening to two garden related story time read alouds
Participating in botanical drawing and learning about the “parts of a plant”
And making your own fire cider to take home!
Page Street Prairie is our home and also a community example of an urban food forest. We welcome visitors but also ask that you are respectful of the space and are very cognizant of where your children are at all times!
Our space is small and interest is abundant for this opportunity so I do reserve the right to cap attendance if it seems to be too much!
