About this Event

Welcome to the Paediatric Rheumatology Research Day! Join us at the Postgraduate Education Centre (underneath the QMC Tram Stop) on March 16, 2026 at 9:30 AM.

  • Are you a trainee, healthcare professional, scientist or researcher working in paediatric rheumatology?
  • Are you interested in doing research, already working in research or just wanting to find out more about research?

Then we warmly invite you to attend the Paediatric Rheumatology CSG Research Day. The day will include talks by expert speakers in research as well as abstract presentations. A networking lunch will be provided, and the programme will be circulated once finalised.

This event is free. Pre-registration is required and numbers are limited. We recommend registering as soon as possible!

Call for Abstracts

Please submit abstracts for 15 min oral presentations, including:

  • Results or interim results of current research
  • Audits undertaken which could form the basis of future research projects
  • Planned research projects that you would like to discuss with feedback from delegates

We are particularly encouraging submissions from trainees, early career researchers and nurses/ allied health professionals. Please submit your abstracts by 28th February.

Abstract Submission Details

Single A4 page:

  • Title (bold)
  • Authors (name, initials) contributing and agreeing to submission, with presenting author underlined.
  • Institution(s) of contributors.
  • Abstract (maximum 400 words): Background, Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion. (Arial, font size 12)
  • One table/ figure can be included. This reduces the word count to maximum 300 words.
  • Bottom of page: include email address of contact person for correspondence
