If you're new to paediatrics or looking to refine your skills this half day course will strengthen your clinical reasoning and confidence in assessing and managing common orthopaedic normal variants in children. You will explore the developmental biomechanics of the growing child, learn to distinguish normal from pathological presentations, and understand thresholds for onward referral and imaging.
A blend of didactic lectures, case-based discussions, and practical sessions, will address conditions such as in toeing, out-toeing, genu varum/valgum, flat feet, and more. Emphasis will be placed on clinical assessment, red flag identification, referral pathways, and effective communication strategies to support families.
