PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Jason Aurand, will be leading this fun advanced-level navigation course, where you learn how to go treasure hunting :DPADI Search & Recovery Specialty Course
Spend time around water (as a diver, how can you avoid it?) and sooner or later you’ll come across someone who has lost something underwater. If you’re looking for the challenge and excitement—along with doing your good deed for the day—the PADI Search and Recovery Diver Specialty course is a great find. It gives you the skills you need to find what’s been lost, and get it to the surface. With these skills, you become more capable and confident in the water. And beyond helping others, most Search and Recovery Divers eventually find themselves searching for and recovering something they lost themselves.
The PADI Search and Recovery Diver Specialty course covers:
• Search and recovery dive planning, procedures, techniques, and how to deal with potential problems
• How to locate large and small objects using search patterns
• How to use a lift bag and other recovery methods
• Limited visibility search techniques
No student minimum for this course. Complete PADI’s eLearning before the workshop.
The PADI Search and Recovery Specialty certification credits toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
