We’ll begin with a brief paddle upstream, where the river’s natural beauty still thrives, before turning downstream into the main channel, where a different story unfolds. Along the way, we’ll discover how visionary individuals and organizations are reimagining the river as "Petaluma’s longest park," a vibrant space for recreation, connection, and ecological renewal.
Paddling past historic Gold Rush–era buildings, industrial landmarks, and newly revitalized riverfront spaces, we’ll highlight the efforts of riverside businesses, nonprofits, and passionate locals working to reconnect Petaluma with its waterway. As one of those organizations, The Floathouse is proud to introduce you to the river’s evolving story and the people shaping its future.

We know many local paddlers prefer their own craft, so we’re offering a special rate for those joining in their own kayak or SUP. Paddle alongside our guided group and experience this signature storytelling tour with your own familiar setup.

💦 $85 standard rate – includes sit-on-top kayak, paddle, PFD, and full Floathouse support
