The New York Susquehanna Basin Water Trail (NYSBWT) follows the Chemung and Susquehanna Rivers of south-central New York State. From Cooperstown to Corning, the trail welcomes paddlers and anglers of all abilities to explore the natural beauty, history, and river communities along 190 miles of exciting waterways. Last year we kicked off the opening of the Water Trail at the ribbon cutting in Cooperstown, NY at the top of the Susquehanna River, but we wanted to show the Chemung River some love too.
Please join us in celebrating the western branch of the NYSBWT with a ribbon cutting at Kinsella Park in Painted Post on Saturday May 30th. Enjoy lawn games, try out one of our new kayaks, and more. Celebrate the Chemung River and the NYSBWT with us and our collaborative partners, Explore Steuben, Discover Chemung, and the Chemung County Chamber of Commerce!
