On Tuesday, March 17th at 7:00 p.m. in the Fred Kavli Theatre at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks, The United States Coast Guard Band will present a free concert under the direction of Captain Adam R. Williamson and CWO Jeffrey A. Spenner. Programs include iconic music by Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Schwartz, Percy Grainger, Samuel Barber and others. You might hear “Defying Gravity” from the hit show Wicked, a dazzling jazz clarinet concerto, a joyous french horn concerto, Sousa marches, or a beautiful setting of “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”
