We are thrilled to announce that the Goo Goo Dolls will headline PACER’s 41st Annual Benefit at the Minneapolis Convention Center in April 2024! Formed by Rzeznik and Takac in Buffalo, NY during 1986, Goo Goo Dolls have quietly broken records, contributed a string of staples to the American songbook, connected to millions of fans, and indelibly impacted popular music for three-plus decades. Beyond selling 15 million records worldwide, the group has garnered four GRAMMY® Award nominations and nearly a dozen platinum & gold singles combined, and seized a page in the history books by achieving 16 number one and Top 10 hits. As a result, they hold the all-time radio record for “Most Top 10 Singles.” It will be an unforgettable evening!Guests will have access to our silent and live auctions, program, and Goo Goo Dolls performance all while supporting our work on behalf of families of children with disabilities.
Proceeds from this event go toward:
•Parent Training and Advocacy: This program helps children and young adults with any disability reach their full potential. PACER helps parents navigate special education, health, mental health, transition systems, and more so their children receive appropriate services and support.
•Social Inclusion: Programs include the National Bullying Prevention Center which unites, engages, and educates communities to address bullying through creative, relevant, and interactive resources. It also includes PACER’s Count Me In puppet shows for preschool and elementary school children and Fun Times, which provides social events for young adults with disabilities and their peers.
•The Simon Technology Center (STC): This program makes the life-changing benefits of assistive technology more accessible to youth with disabilities through individual consultations, a lending library, workshops, and videos.
