Davy Lazare is a slam-winning poet, who used spoken word to overcome a debilitating stammer. Poetry literally gave him a voice. His poems play with time, rhythm and sound effects to breathe energy into the stories he tells. Stories that centre around masculinity, race, family and society. Davy has lent his voice to opens mics, events, and festivals nationwide - along with commissioned work for the likes of The Royal Mail, Kimberly-Clark and Pure Gym.
