In this follow-up workshop, Oz Ezzeldin expands on the innovative concepts introduced in Workshop #1, offering a deeper exploration of his unique approach to practicing and teaching jazz harmony and polyrhythms. Drawing from his upcoming book, Ezzeldin will present new materials—including what he calls “rhythm scales,” unison exercises, etudes in odd meters, and play-along patterns designed for multi-instrument practice.Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with these examples in a supportive, hands-on environment, with chances to play and experiment together. Open to musicians of all levels and instruments, this session continues the journey toward greater rhythmic fluency, harmonic creativity, and personal expression.
