About this Event

Pop down to your local People Planet Pint meetup to find more about what's going on locally with sustainability and how you can get involved.

No pitches, powerpoints or panels. Just People, Planet, Pint/s.

Your local meetup is a great place to start your journey or continue learning, and meet diverse people to chat about life and how we can sustain it. Every job is a climate job, so come along and learn about how you can take action, as well as what is going on locally.

We welcome everyone, regardless of their experience or background. People Planet Pint is a space where everyone can feel comfortable learning about sustainability and sharing their ideas.

Afterall, creating a sustainable future requires connected communities. And what better way to bring everyone together than over a drink?

Your Volunteer Hosts

Ruth is a founding member of OXygen, a purpose-led design agency focusing on accessibility and sustainability in digital design and communications for global clients. She also works as part of the wider Oxford HR Group, leading on impact measurement and communications. Ruth holds a degree from the London School of Economics and currently studies part time for an MSc in Sustainable Development at the University of Sussex. She lives just outside of Oxford with her dog and has a keen interest in climate action.

As the founder of two successful digital marketing businesses and an ex-PwC consultant, Ned Wells has helped organisations of every hew to thrive through precise, strategic, digital marketing.
Today, he only works with organisations that prioritise people and planet alongside profit. B Corps, Greentech businesses, social enterprises and charities that trade. His passion and expertise is crafting marketing strategies to drive social and environmental change.
Outside of work he’s an emergency foster carer, a business coach for Pr*son-leavers, and a campaigner for cleaner rivers. He serves as a trustee for a primary education charity in Oxfordshire and for a grant-making foundation in London. Oh and he’s learning to do a handstand and sing in Welsh (not at the same time).

About Our Partner, ProsperBD

ProsperBD works with environmental, sustainability, and B Corp companies, supporting them with all aspects of their business development setup to help increase sales pipelines and win new clients. Their support is particularly valuable when companies lack the time to carry out these activities themselves, don’t have the necessary skillset, or simply don’t have the inclination to focus on sales.

Our Sponsor

KRYSTAL are an award-winning, 100% renewably powered hosting provider, with datacentres in the UK, US, & Europe. They are climate positive, and their approach centres on value, quality and transparency.

We are delighted to announce our partnership with Krystal (the UK's only B Corp web hosting/cloud provider), and welcome them on board as sponsors of the People, Planet, Pint events.

This means the first 10 drinks are on Krystal at every event, and has allowed us to invest and upscale the series to accelerate action on climate change.

Simon Blackler is the founder of KRYSTAL, and Co-Founder of MillionTreePledge.

At Small99, our vision is to build resilient & prosperous communities & companies.

We host the UK's fastest-growing sustainability meet-ups, People Planet Pint and People Planet Pastry, which now take place in over 140+ cities across 15 countries, with around 80 events a month.

We’re also breaking the mold of traditional sustainability training by empowering teams with the confidence and ownership over positive actions they can take with in person experiences.

Since 2023, we have directly trained over 3,000 businesses on Net Zero and carbon reduction and have reached over 50,000 businesses with our events and digital tools.
