First performance commencing 12pm noon (Gospel Choir at 11:30am); second performance at 2:30pm (Gospel Choir at 2pm).
The Gospel Choir from Pearly Gates Church in Abingdon, sets the scene in Bonn Square at 11.30am before the drama unfolds at noon with choreographed dancing for the Wedding Feast at Cana. The drama then continues inside New Road Baptist Church before concluding outdoors once more.
Under the direction of Marion Bloice-Smith, a diverse community reimagine the Easter story, weaving together the Christian themes of hope, justice, and renewal in a production designed to resonate with today’s audiences.
