About this Event
Oxford Clinical AI for Healthcare Leaders
Flora Anderson Hall, Somerville College, June 25, 2026 at 8:30 AM (BST) .
Delivered in collaboration with the The Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development (OICSD).
Oxford Clinical AI for Healthcare Leaders is a focused, one-day forum bringing together NHS clinicians, operational leaders, and digital decision-makers to explore the real-world adoption of Ambient Voice Technologies (AVTs) in healthcare.
Hosted at Somerville College, Oxford, this event moves beyond broad discussions of “AI in healthcare” to examine a specific and rapidly advancing category of tools already reshaping clinical practice. AVTs - ranging from ambient documentation assistants to workflow automation - offer a practical route to reducing administrative burden, improving efficiency, and supporting workforce sustainability across the NHS.
However, their adoption raises critical questions around clinical safety, governance, implementation, and trust. This conference is designed to address those questions directly.
Through a curated programme of expert talks, panel discussion, and a structured debate, attendees will hear from clinicians, researchers, and industry leaders working at the forefront of AVT deployment. Sessions will focus on what is working in practice, where challenges remain, and what organisations need to do now to adopt these technologies safely and effectively.
This is not a technical conference. It is a leadership forum focused on decision-making, implementation, and impact.
