Own It Chair Dance Experience - Glow Edition -April 5th - Hopkins

Join OWN IT Instructor, Angel, for a night of Sexy, Sweaty Chair Dance FUN!!!

This is a fun, heels type class of sensual movement using a chair. You will learn a sexy, modern chair dance routine in a body positive, supportive, non-judgmental space. Although this is not a stage performance class, you will get the opportunity to perform for our group and take photos & videos to document your dance journey or share with a special someone.

THE EXPERIENCES HOSTED AT THE MESS HALL ARE ONE OF A KIND. We will decorate our bodies with NEON BODY PAINT so I encourage you to wear something that will glow in the BLACK LIGHTS and leaves some skin you can use as your creative canvas! I have been told this paint is washable but chose your outfit/shoes at your own risk.

The chair is here to support you which makes this a beautiful beginner class.

Whether you're a mom who just needs to get out of the house to feel like a whole person again, a previous competition dancer who has lost their joy for dance, someone who wants to become more in tune with their body and sexuality, or someone looking for a fun way to move your body from a place of love instead of hating it at the gym, this experience is for YOU!

Choreography will be broken down step by step with plenty of options to find a movement that feels good to your body. It's always your choice to follow along exactly or add your own spice as you get comfortable.

This party will be full of body waves, hair flips, hip circles, booty shakes and laughter.

This isn't just a class; it's an EXPERIENCE!!! It's not just about dance, it's about expanding your comfort zone, it's about empowering yourself and each other. It's embracing, loving and appreciating our bodies in its ever-evolving state.

Info: This is an EXPERIENCE not just a dance class. We will start with decorating our beautiful bodies in glow paint, releasing any jitters, getting connected with one another and take a few photos/selfies before we start dancing. Please arrive on time so you don't miss the painting opportunity. Doors will open at 6:45

Info: We will warm up as a group, then you will learn a BEGINNER LEVEL modern chair dance routine that will get your heart pumping, body sweating and allow you to tap into the true confidence that comes from embracing & embodying your femininity & sensuality.

Info: The famous OWN IT SHOWCASE! This is when we all get a chance to perform and hype each other up! I highly encourage recording this performance to document your dance journey, but this is never required. THE SHOWCASE WILL BE PHOTOGRAPHED BY CLOCKWORK STEVE FOR THIS FEBRUARY CLASS - MY SPECIAL TREAT TO YOU!!!

Info: We will come to a close with a nice stretch and a moment of rest for self-love & appreciation.
