Search for the smelly welcome of spring as we hike to the Hanging Bog to view Skunk Cabbage. We will be hiking to the Hanging Bog, roughly a 2.5 mile loop, with uneven terrain and hills. Trekking poles are suggested if conditions are icy or muddy. Our Older, Wiser, Livelier Souls (OWLS) programs in conjunction with Jackson & Jones County Conservation Boards are geared towards adults. Bring a lunch to enjoy with others after the hike.Registration is not required, but is appreciated, so staff are able to prepare.
