Join Wander Woman as we head to Ernie Miller Nature Center for a beginner Owl at the Moon event!Whoooo makes their home in Ernie Miller Nature Park? Who else but the Great Horned, Barred, and Screech Owls! Join us for this informative talk including a live owl demonstration by wildlife professionals at the Ernie Miller Nature Center. We will follow the demonstration with an owl pellet dissection where everyone will dissect their own owl pellet and take it home in their new glass display. We will end the evening with a hike through the park while we attempt to call in wild owls! Although there is no guarantee that we will see wild owls, the event will be during their mating season when they are most communicative, and in favorable habitat, so chances are pretty good!
Come dressed for the weather. We will have cider and hot chocolate to help us keep warm!
