Hello 76ers! It's time to make those plans to blast off for Owensboro for our Apollo High School 50th Reunion celebration!Join us for a great weekend of catching up with friends, sharing old memories, and making new ones!
The fun will start off with a meetup downtown on the riverfront with Friday After 5. The Street Fair begins at 5:00 pm. Food trucks, music, and lots to explore. Music begins on the main stage at 7:00 at McConnell Plaza and ends at 10:00
On Saturday morning, plans are in the works for a tour of the old Alma Mater. Lots of changes at AHS since we graced those halls and classrooms, so don't miss it. Details on the start time are TBA, so keep an eye on this event page for updates.
Saturday night is the main event, held at Brew Bridge, located at 800 West 2nd Street. Doors at 6:00 pm, lasting until 10:00 pm. Lots of great food, drink, and music with DeeJay Doc Harris spinning those tunes from the 70's. Work is progressing on a fun photo montage, and we'd love for you to contribute! Send in photos of your family to be included! Just add them to the Apollo Class of 1976 group page and we should be able to access them!
A photographer will also be on hand to take individual and group pictures. Dress is business casual.
On Sunday afternoon there will be a potluck picnic from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Panther Creek Park, located at 5160 Wayne Bridge Road. Scott Kuegel is leading the way for this event, so reach out to him with questions, or to help volunteer to make it special.
The cost for the event is $40 per person and can be paid by Venmo to @Donna-Hardesty-6.
