About Rebekah King
Rebekah King has been engaging audiences ever since her debut as Little Red Riding Hood in her grade four Christmas play. Well-respected for her confidence and ability to build rapport with small and large crowds alike, Rebekah has facilitated over 100 workshops both face-to-face and online throughout her professional career.
A Master Neuro-Linguistics Practitioner and Hypnotherapist, Rebekah developed a fascination with the brain after surviving a stroke at 31, which exacerbated the debilitating depression and anxiety she had lived with for more than 20 years.
Believing she would have to learn to cope with these conditions and be on medication for the rest of her life, Rebekah defied medical professionals, instead embarking on a transformative journey to rewire her thinking and change her brain.
A lover of adventure, being in uncomfortable situations and pushing herself to the limit, Rebekah has cliff jumped in the highlands of Scotland, cycled hundreds of kilometres to raise money for cancer prevention, underprivileged children and vision impaired people, and charmed her way out of being arrested on a train in Berlin.
Known as ‘The Brain Changer™’, Rebekah brings warmth, compassion and a little humour to a usually serious topic, in non-sciencey speak, creating a safe space for your audience to be seen and heard.
