This how to use an overlocker’ workshop is for sewers who want to use an overlocker and explore the basics with confidence.Bring along your machine or use one of the studio machines if you don’t have one but may be thinking of buying one.
Suitable for those who've never used an overlocker or those who've had a go and given up.
Do you dread the thought of threading the overlocker? If you're feeling terrified by the cutter, at the end of this workshop you'll have overcome the fear and be wanting to refinish all those zig-zagged seam allowances.
We'll go through how to:
-Setting up .
-Threading.
-Adjusting tension.
-Work on different fabrics.
This relaxed and friendly workshop is held in Elasha Studio, Fairkytes Centre 59 Billet Lane, Hornchurch.
NOTE: If you have your own overlocker you are encouraged to bring it along to this workshop, along with its manual.
Workshop Cancellations:
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds, if you make a cancellation or do not attend a class. However, if you are unable to attend a class, course or workshop, you may transfer your booking to a friend. If you wish to do this, you must inform us in advanced by emailing [email protected]
If in the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to bad weather, or other uncontrollable events, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date (in-person or virtual).
In fairness to all of our customers we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness, travel, or work hours. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a relative or friend!
