About the Instructors:
Brown Cannon, Jr. and Alberto Ricordi:
Mr. Cannon, a seasoned agriculturalist, has been actively researching and implementing strategies to mitigate the impact of this invasive species threatening our islands.
Mr. Ricordi, an Ornamentals and Landscape Assistant Extension Agent at the University of Hawaii, brings valuable expertise to this endeavor.
Recommended:
- Notebook and pen/pencil for notetaking (Optional)
- Comfortable, closed-toe shoes with good traction (required) You should be prepared to walk on uneven terrain (to and from your car )
- Long pants (to keep mosquitoes off. Optional: a light jacket or long-sleeved outer shirt.)
- Bug Spray (optional but recommended)
- Rain jacket or poncho (In case of rain from the car to the classroom)
- Water bottle (optional but recommended)

Refunds: Refund requests can be made up to one week before the class date. Tickets purchaed after the ticket deadline will not be refunded. Tickets cannot be transferred to another class.
