Anxiety and stress are endemic in our busy, fast-paced life.π¨ We tend to think that situations or people in our life are the causes of our stress and unhappiness. Consequently, we waste our time and deplete our mental energy by trying to figure out how to βfixβ those situations or people. π€ This usually creates even more mental busyness and stress.
Buddha taught that all our worries, anxiety and stress comes from within our own mind. More specifically, they come from our unrealistic expectations and our exaggerated π€― views of ourself, the people around us and the world π in general. By learning to identify the actual causes of our unpleasant feelings and emotions, we can begin to understand how to free our mind from them and learn to face lifeβs adversities with a happy, peaceful heart. β€οΈβπ©Ή
This workshop will include guided meditations, and is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced meditators. πͺ·
