About this Event
What's Actually Happening
You show up outside. Could be your first time doing yoga. Could be your hundredth. Doesn't matter.Music on. Mats down. Movement starts.
This is a Ma Bèl experience — a space created specifically for Black women in their 30s and 40s who are coming back to themselves. Through wellness, body, mind, and spirit. On their own terms. You'll flow through 45 minutes of Afrobeats-set yoga — upbeat, playful, built around one rule: laughter over perfect form. There are partner poses. There is a dance break. There is absolutely no pressure to look like you know what you're doing.
After the flow, we're not done. Colorful refreshments (fruit popsicles, bright smoothies, sparkling drinks) and a closing circle where we go around and share the one thing that actually brought us joy this week.
We open with phones put away and our signature opening sequence — a small ceremony before we begin.
Quick note:
This is outdoor yoga, not a studio class. The ground is the floor, the sky is the ceiling, and wobbling is part of the vibe.
Wear something you can move in and bring your mat.

This Is For People Who:
Black Women in their 30s or 40s and actively choosing themselves right now. Would rather move their body with people who get it than scroll alone at home. Don't take themselves too seriously in a warrior pose. Think joy is a valid reason to show up somewhere.
