Hello!Here for the 4th running of O&A Sessions - 1hr sessions on reading and discussion through a book called "Outreach and the Artist" by Constantine Campbell.
Deets:
Thursdays 2-3pm, Location (will be posted in group chat)
We've had 3 groups in the past go through this book and it's been a great time learning how God has created art in his good creation, some struggles we may face as Christian artists and how we can enjoy + use art to share the gospel.
This is not just for WAAPA students, we encourage any Christian student on campus with artistic interests to join the chat! We get great discussions from creative students across different artistic fields and courses.
Sessions are held on campus with anyone interested to read/discuss/chuck ideas at each other. We already have a couple of keen beans joining and if YOU are wanting to join in, click "Going" or dm me (Gabby Lee) - I'll add you to the group chat!
**If you've heard of the ECU CU Annual Psalm concert, artists who have participated in O&A sessions are highly encouraged to put the things they've learnt into practice at the upcoming Psalm concert! In fact, spots to present or perform at Psalm are given to O&A attendees first as Psalm is the best training ground/launch pad for it.**
