We're thrilled to announce our new LGBTQ+ book collection in partnership with Metuchen Public Library — built with everyone in mind, from board books all the way through middle grade, YA, and adult titles.Books are mirrors and windows — reflecting our own lives back to us, and opening us up to experiences different from our own. For LGBTQ+ people navigating the intersection of race, culture, faith, and identity, mirrors can be rare. And for those who don't identify as LGBTQ+? These books are for you too — we all grow when we step into someone else's story.
We're launching this collection for Pride Month, but it's here to stay as a permanent part of the Metuchen Public Library.
