About this Event
Since the summer of 2023, the Sally Blagg Family Foundation has been building relationships with landscape partners from across the Appalachian landscapes. Our goal was to return to our early American roots of environmental stewardship; exploration, subsistence farming and forest management. As we spent more time with individuals and institutions west of the fall line it became clear that deeper, more intentional, connectivity was necessary to bridge the so-called "urban/rural divide."
The Outdoors for All (Community Day Conference) is a convening of urban outdoor advocates, coming together around a series of discussions that center on improving access to state, federal (public) as well as private lands for American family.
