About this Event
Clunie Clouds ( BAMBA registered mindfulness teacher and KAY kids yoga teacher) will lead you through the woodland at Hermitage of Braid with a playful outdoor yoga class.
Starting at 2pm in Midmar paddock, where Hermitage Drive/Midmar Drive meet, in Morningside, we will first notice what's happening in nature, examining the tree's life cycle and new growth. There will be 'tree yoga' here, sun salutations, some music and yoga stretches and a little mindfulness, before we move into the woodland. We will look closely at the ground and the mini bugs and use animal poses to practise yoga asanas and walk along the hillside. There will be time to rest with a healthy snack and herbal fruit tea provided. Each child will make their very own mini book with natural materials.
The class will end at 4pm, with a story.
