Wellington Pride Festival and Brewtown are proud to present:
💖OUT IN BREWTOWN
We can't wait to bring you our most fun, fabulous and inclusive night yet, in a super safe and friendly space, where everyone is welcome if they come with love and respect.
Get your glam on, feel gorgeous and bring the good vibes for a full-on party that celebrates our beautiful queer community! With pumping tunes and big energy in a space where we encourage you to express yourself and embrace your identity.
We'll see you on the dancefloor!
(A portion of ticket sales goes to support the excellent work of Wellington Pride Festival and Naming NZ).
🎵LADYHAWKE (DJ Set)
Headlining the night! Award-winning New Zealand artist Ladyhawke makes a long-awaited return to DJing, bringing her trademark mix of infectious energy and impeccable taste back to the dancefloor.
Best known for her genre-bending hits like My Delirium and Paris Is Burning, Ladyhawke’s DJ sets blend nostalgic anthems, Disco House, House and unexpected deep cuts — that will keep you moving all night!
🎵Bec Sandridge (Joining us from Australia)
Discovering Bec Sandridge feels like being let in on a secret.
A queer-pop shapeshifter with sharp angles, step-down black-and-white hair, and a voice somewhere between David Byrne and Kate Bush, Sandridge has been bending pop into performance art for over a decade. Her new single Always A Fan— co-produced with Nick Zaharias (MAY-A, The Buoys)—is the first from her upcoming album Happy Futures, featuring collaborators like Tony Buchen (G Flip, Smashing Pumpkins), Dave Jenkins Jr (Daniel Johns, Vera Blue, and Grammy-winner Cian Riordan (St Vincent, Lana Del Rey).
She’s supported Mitski, St. Vincent, Tegan and Sara, Ladyhawke, Kimbra, Yungblud; played
Reeperbahn, World Pride, Falls Festival; and appeared on The L Word, Q+A, and at Sydney Opera House.
Sandridge’s bold blend of theatre, fuzz pedals, and queer angst earned her Triple J rotation, an ISC finalist nod, and a sold-out 2024 Great Southern Nights show—the first in the series to do so.
Pop—bent, broken, and reassembled into something radically her own.
🎵Ardon England
Ardon England is a high impact live electronic artist from Aotearoa, delivering explosive, dancefloor driven performances that blur the line between club set and pop spectacle.
A proud Māori, queer artist with over two decades in the dance industry, Ardon’s shows are built around movement, precision, and presence — full body performance meets electronic pop at peak energy.
🎵Dateline
Led by bandleader Katie Everingham, Wellington’s stubborn driven indie-rocker’s deliver a performance that oozes emotion by blending earnest harmonies that hark back to early oo's indie pop, with cool burn of UK guitar groups from the 90s.
🎵Tahini Bikini
Pōneke based salad funk band. Dousing Aotearoa with smooth grooves & hummus.
Known for their distinctive sound, a combination of funk, soul and pop rock influences elevated by frontwoman Mads Taylor’s frank, feisty lyrics and smoky voice.
