🎭 Out at Sea – Birminghma Little Theatre (United Kingdom)
Language: Latvian (with English translation)
Birmingham Little Theatre will present the absurd comedy “Out at Sea” by Polish playwright Sławomir Mrożek as part of this year’s gathering programme.
At the centre of the play are three gentlemen adrift on a raft, trying to survive by deciding which one of them will become the next meal. With irony and vividness, the performance exposes human games with power, instincts, and the limits of “democracy.” The director employs a rich theatrical language, emphasising the importance of space and sound to evoke both laughter and reflection on human nature.
