Ready for some fresh air and friendly farm faces? We’re heading to the wonderful Ouseburn Farm for a relaxed Sunday afternoon! It’s a great spot to meet the animals, see the gardens, and enjoy a gentle walk in the valley.
The Plan:
📅 When: Sunday, 24th May
⏰ Meeting Time: 1:00 PM at the Farm entrance.
📍 Where: Ouseburn Farm, Ouseburn Road, Newcastle.
🧺 The Social: We'll explore the farm together first. If you'd like a bite to eat, the on-site cafe takes last food orders at 2:00 PM.
💡 Top Tip: Because the cafe closes early (3:00 PM), feel free to bring a packed lunch! There are lovely spots around the farm and the valley to sit and eat together if you’d prefer that over the cafe.
The Details:
Cost: Entry to the farm is free, though small donations are always welcome to help feed the animals!
Pay on the Day: No need to book—just turn up and join the group.
Accessibility: The farm is mostly flat and accessible for everyone.

💡 Quick reminder for the group:
Last Orders: If you definitely want a hot toastie or a coffee from the cafe, make sure we head there as soon as we meet, as they stop serving food right at 2:00 PM!
Parking: Sundays are usually free in many of the nearby street spots, but it can get busy, so aim for the Foundry Lane area.
