Step inside a suitcase and discover worlds filled with memory, creativity and hope for Papatūānuku 🌿🧳Our World Inside a Suitcase is a unique exhibition presented by Arts Murihiku and the Wanda Foundation Environmental Arts Trust, transforming vintage and pre-loved suitcases into powerful works of art and storytelling. Featuring contributions from artists, schools, community groups and everyday people across Otago and Southland, each suitcase carries its own history, treasures and vision for a more sustainable future.
Launching at Whare Taupua in June 2026 before touring Otago, this inspiring exhibition celebrates creativity, reuse and the stories we choose to carry forward.
