Founded in 1836, the Kentucky Historical Society (KHS) educates and engages the public through Kentucky’s history. A Smithsonian Affiliate and fully accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, KHS brings expert museum educators across the Commonwealth through programs like Kentucky History on the Road, delivering dynamic presentations that make the past feel present.
