Our America Celebrates 250 Years!

Activities include:

• Parade through the park at 9:30 am and 4:30 pm
• Impressions of 18th century figures, including George Washington, Yakama dancers, John Hancock, and many everyday folks of the time
• Demonstrations of musket drills, dancing, beading and basket making, candle making, spinning. lace making
• Educational talks about daily life 250 years ago, politicians' thoughts on government formation, native history, roles of women, and history of our flags
• Drop off worn, torn flags for proper retirement
• Displays of items used in everyday life
• Encampments of soldiers and Yakamas
