The Symposium lecture program is designed to cover the diversity of Scottish geology, conservation of the Nation’s geological heritage, and current active research on Scottish rocks, along with a recognition of the work of James Hutton. Poster displays will complement the lecture program, and the Symposium theme will be supported by a program of field trips which will run on the Sunday.
