Ouachita Singers is the premiere auditioned touring mixed chorus of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The ensemble has performed extensively across the United States and internationally, including tours to Italy, Germany, and China, as well as appearances at regional conferences of the American Choral Directors Association. Under the direction of Dr. Alex T. Favazza, Jr., the choir is dedicated to sharing high-quality choral music with warmth, artistry, and musical integrity.
Dr. Alex T. Favazza, Jr. is Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Ouachita Baptist University, where he conducts the university choirs and teaches conducting and choral music. A respected conductor, composer, and church musician, his choral works are published internationally and performed widely throughout the United States.
