Join Andy Mather of Calderdale Otter Project for a walk along the canal and river in Shipley and Saltaire to look for signs of otters. Otters have been seen here regularly in early spring and although seeing otters is unlikely, we remain hopeful! This walk will focus on learning how to identify otter spraint (poo), footprints, meal remains, and other signs of otter activity.Meet along the canal by the Dock Lane Swing Bridge, on the corner of Dockfield Road and Dock Lane (BD17 7AD). Street parking available nearby. WhatThreeWords: “passes.stress.frost”
