About this Event

Accessibility

The main accessible entrance and ramp is at 290 Lisgar Street on the north side of the building. A second emergency exit and accessible ramp is located at 355 Cooper Street on the south side of the building.

There is elevator access to all four levels of the building.

Please call ahead to 613-520-4401 to make any inquiries about accessibility in the building.


Parking

There is a paid parking lot on the north side of the building. Parking is limited in this lot and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Overflow parking (paid, street or otherwise) available nearby along Cooper Street, Lisgar Street, and O’Connor Street. Two accessible parking spots are located on the south/west corner of the lot.

Parking rates are as follows:

Monday to Friday6:00AM – 6:00PM, $3 per 30 minutes, $16 Max6:00PM – 6:00AM, $5 Flat Fee

Saturday, Sunday and Holidays6:00AM – 6:00PM, $4 flat fee6:00PM – 6:00AM, $4 flat fee

Two meters accepting credit cards only are available in the lot to make payment. Guests may also pay for parking using the parkedin.com website or “Parkedin” smartphone app to manage and pay for their parking (Zone ID #1277).

Drivers can drop off guests at the main entrances to the building, but must immediately move their vehicle to maintain clear emergency routes to the building.

CDCC does not monitor the parking lot or machines. Please contact Precise Parklink Ottawa with any questions or concerns related to parking at this location.


Public Transit

CDCC is easily accessed by public transit.

Travel to and from Carleton University campus via OC Transpo > #7 St-Laurent–Carleton

Bicycle

Arrive by bicycle and use one of the various City of Ottawa or CDCC bike racks available at and around the venue.


Walk

CDCC is located near many downtown shops and restaurants in Ottawa’s wonderful Centretown community. Parliament Hill is a 10 minute walk away. CD Rideau Centre is a 15 minute walk away.


Arrive by Air or Train

Ottawa International Airport is located at 1000 Airport Parkway Private, Ottawa (approximately 30 minute drive by car).

The main Ottawa Train station is located at 200 Tremblay Road, Ottawa (approximately 15 minute drive by car).


Service Animals

CDCC welcomes guests and their service animals. Guests with service animals are requested to check in with the front desk staff upon arrival to the building. Unfortunately, no other pets or animals are authorized in the building.


Scent-Free Environment

There are thousands of guests who visit the building each month with allergies and sensitivities to scents. Thank you for keeping the building scent-free.


Green Initiatives

While visiting CDCC, we ask that you consider your environmental impact – reduce, reuse and recycle whenever possible! When you have finished working in a space, turn off the lights. Be mindful of how much extra running water you may be using. And, consider trying to use less paper towel or tissue.


Food and Beverage

Please note that only water is permitted inside the Sanctuary Main Hall.

Regular ongoing food and beverage services are not available at CDCC. We invite guests to visit nearby shops or restaurants for snacks or meals.

Thank you for noting that alcohol is not permitted at the venue, unless staff are notified in advance and a Special Occasion Permit (SOP) is in place by the event organizers. Thank you for noting that the use of cannabis is not permitted on the premises.
