The Ottawa Pinball League is back!!After popular demand we the OPL is coming back.
The league HQ will be at the Ottawa Pinball Arcade who is now partnered with Player 1. There may be occasional league events at private collections from time to time but will mostly be at the Arcade.
League will consist of 8 Weekes of play with playoffs being on the 9th week.
Each week people will be in groups of 4 (Balanced so you play with different people each week) and will play four 4 player games. Each player in each group will get to pick a game and will be player 1 on that game.
Scoring will be 7-5-3-1 for each game. at the end of 4 games everyone's totals will be added to that week's games.
6 of 8 weeks will count towards your standings for playoffs meaning you can either drop your worst two weeks or miss 2 weeks. If you miss more weeks you are still eligible to qualify for playoffs but will. get 0 points for any weeks beyond two that you drop or miss.
After 8 weeks the top 8 players will play a standard 4-2-1-0 playoffs of three games per round with top two from each group moving on to final 4 where we will crown a Champion.
the next 8 B eligible players (B eligible players will be determined by IFPA rank as of season start) will play in the same playoff format as A division to crown a B division winner.
League days will be Sunday Afternoons starting at noon and should run for 2-3 hours each.
Registration will be $20 per season which will include trophies and prizes for both A and B division.

The plan is to continue to run additional seasons (4-5 per year). There will be no player limit for the first season. If there is an overwhelming response we may limit players in future seasons.
