Join Orchestra of St. Luke’s (OSL) for OSLmusic at Bella Abzug: A Sunset Celebration—a vibrant, three-block musical experience in the heart of Manhattan. As the sun sets, Bella Abzug Park comes alive with performances, activities, and surprises designed to delight audiences of all ages. Explore each zone at your own pace and let the music guide you.
Block 1: Rising Voices Discover exciting new talent with bold brass performances near the Vessel and intimate chamber music on the northern lawn. This zone features emerging artists from OSL's Mentorship Program, including musicians from the Manhattan and Mannes Schools of Music.
Block 2: Family Soundscape The Youth Orchestra of St. Luke’s (YOSL) takes center stage in a playful, family-friendly zone by the fountains. Highlights include:
- Youth performances developed during summer programs
- Interactive Instrument Petting Zoo
- Food and ice cream trucks
- A collaborative chalk mural: What Does Music Look Like?
Block 3: Chamber & Cocktails Unwind near the Paradis in the Park cafe with three curated chamber music sets performed by OSL musicians. Grab a themed cocktail, take a seat, and enjoy classical masterworks in a relaxed, after-work setting.
