This year’s Awards season finally peaks with the Academy Awards on March 15th. Will we see Paul Thomas Anderson win his first statuette with One Battle After Another? Or will the power of the TIFF People’s Choice Award catapult Hamnet to victory? Join us on the 2nd Floor of Paupers Pub to see all the snubs and surprises, chat with other local film lovers, enjoy some five-star food, and win prizes at the DTMC Oscar Watch Party! This is a free event!
Bring your crystal ball and your best gown, as we will have prizes for:
- Oscar Prediction Pool (for all 24 categories!)
- Best Dressed (this can be your best red carpet look, or as a character from one of the contending films!)
- Flash Trivia about the nominees

Throughout the show, the commercial breaks will be interspersed with fun facts, challenges, and the reveal of our community-voted top 10 films of 2025!
About your hosts: The Downtown Toronto Movie Club (DTMC) is one of Toronto’s largest filmgoing communities. We host social events for big releases, local screenings, and film festivals year-round! This is our third annual Oscar party.
